Hulu Series Woke Come To SonyLiv | PP Movie World

 

On April 16th, the intelligent comedy series 'Woke,' a Hulu exclusive, will premiere on SonyLIV. Keith Knight and Marshall Todd created the series, which is directed by Maurice 'Mo' Marable and Chioke Nassor. Among the cast members are Lamorne Morris, Blake Anderson, T. Murph, Rose McIver, and Sasheer Zamata. The plot revolves around Keef, a rising cartoonist who finds himself perpetually "awakened" after an unwelcome encounter with the police. Woke is a hilarious and one-of-a-kind social critique that is both playful and profound. The show stars Lamorne Norris, Cedric the Entertainer, JB Smoove, and Nicole Byer and is directed by Maurice "Mo" Marable. On September 9, 2020, the series premiered on Hulu. Hulu revived the show for a second season on November 17, 2020.
