Scoop : Salman Khan Starrer Tiger 3 Clash With NTR 30 And Ajay Devgn's MayDay On EID 2022 | PP Movie World

 

On Monday evening, it was revealed that Telugu superstar Jr NTR would once again collaborate with ace filmmaker Siva Koratala for his 30th film. The film, which has yet to be named, will be a pan-India production. The actor-director pair previously collaborated on the film Janata Garage. With Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal sharing the screen with Jr NTR, the film was a huge success. Despite the fact that the film was made in Telugu, the dubbed version did extremely well in the North Belt. The actor's fans are hoping for another hit from the pair. On April 29, 2022, the film will be released.

What's more intriguing is that Jr NTR's pan-India film will compete with Salman Khan's Tiger 3 and Ajay Devgn's MayDay, which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. Ajay Devgn announced in December that his film will be released on April 29, 2022. Though Salman Khan has yet to reveal the Tiger 3 release date, it is well known that the superstar surprises his fans by releasing his film every Eid. At the moment, the actor is filming Tiger 3, which is set to be released by Eid 2022. Though there was a lot of talk in the industry about a battle between Devgn's MayDay and Khan's Tiger 3, Jr NTR's pan-India film has now entered the fray.

While the Hindi film audience will be split between MayDay and Tiger 3, the south Indian audience will most likely favour Jr NTR and Siva Koratala's film at the box office. After the massive success of their last outing in 2016 with Janata Garage, Siva Koratala and Jr NTR's success rate as a duo now stands at 100 percent. Jr NTR also benefits from his pan-India appeal, which is expected to gain traction following the release of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR (October 13, 2021). Salman Khan is the undisputed king of box office, and he has a devoted fan base in the North belt, especially in single-screen theatres.Apart from Salman's devoted fan base, Tiger 3 benefits from the fact that it is part of a popular franchise with high anticipation.

Meanwhile, ahead of Jr NTR's Eid showdown with Ajay Devgn, the two will face off in October with the release of Maidaan, in which Devgn plays the lead role. On October 15, Boney Kapoor's film Maidaan will be announced. The October box office results would provide a better image of how the box office will be split for Eid 2022. Devgn also makes an appearance in RRR, which is interesting.
